Healing the Ancestral Womb

In the Munay-Ki tradition, a shamanic practice that originates from the Q'ero Peoples of Peru, in South America, we are taught how to be the masters of our universe, to take power over our lives as the Master Creators that we are. In Quechua, Munay means "love" and Ki means "light". We take on the conscious journey of awakening our light body to fulfill our highest expression in union with the elements, with nature, with all that lives and breathes around us. Everything.

Through 9 Activations, Rites of Power, and through feeding our energy field with the Sacred Fire, we nourish our spirit with this powerful gift of creation and empowerment. When we begin to connect with nature, and awaken our lives to coincide with the natural rhythms of nature, something deep awakens inside of us, our Indigenous ancestral connections to all.

Over 10 years ago, I received my 9 Rites and over the years, I have fed my spirit, my energy centers with the element of fire and with the element of water. At first I wasn't sure where this  practice would take me--and it is now that chapter is finally revealing itself to me as I birth this journey into the Healing of our Ancestral Womb. Things really kicked in for me in this area, when I began perimenopause early in my 30's. I had to trace my healing back to my mother's mothers' mother and go back as far as possible to healing my ancestral womb and finally release the pain that was holding me back from stepping into my power as a medicine wombyn.

I received the 13th Rite, the Rite of the Womb, last fall... once again, I couldn't imagine where this path would take me--to take a closer look at how our womb space is in need of this activation. For ages, womb carriers have been persecuted, oppressed, violated, and we have allowed our bodies to be a place to store fear. Now, in this new era, we have an opportunity to heal our wombs and to heal our inner Divine Feminine Nature. Through Sacred Ceremony and ritual, in this class, we will activate our womb center with love, creation, joy and take our Divine Rite as Womb Carriers home so that we can live a happier and healthier life.
